Baobab Volunteering Services

Medical and healthcare-related projects need volunteers with the appropriate skills to share their time and skills abroad. Several projects involve entry-level nurses, midwives, medical doctors, dentists, surgeons, and supporting allied health professionals such as EKG technicians, Nutritionists, Physiotherapists, Naturopaths, Chiropractors, Health Advisors etc. The main emphasis is on preventive and therapeutic health services in the form of education, vaccination, treatment and maintenance of good health habits. We work with community health centers, clinics, hospitals, medical and nursing schools, dispensaries, dental offices, and optometricians in many communities that need volunteers to assist them. We also organize doctors' clinics.
